OtherWorlds—August '26 (Guest/Managing Editor: Tyler Campbell)
Ends on
Fantasy is a growing literary tradition that invites us to explore vast worlds filled with wonder and possibility, to step beyond the familiar and imagine different beings, histories, and ways of living. Boudin is looking for written and visual work that celebrates the depth and creativity of literary fantasy. Our team is crafting an issue that champions the fantastic, whether it be enchanted forests, magical creatures, or wizards dueling on Hollywood Boulevard, through work that transports readers to a place beyond the normal. We are looking for pieces that embrace the spirit of fantasy in all its forms, from intimate stories to epic adventures, while revealing the wonder, curiosity, and humanity that lie at the heart of fantasy as a genre.
There is no fee to submit for this issue. We accept Fiction/CNF/hybrid submissions under 3,000 words. You may submit up to three poems/microfictions (under 500 words each). Please include your full name and the genre of your work in your cover letter. If multiple pieces are submitted, please attach them all in one document in one submission. Please limit submissions to four issues per calendar year. Boudin takes previously unpublished work only.
